Back to Narbonne and Saint-Laurent-de-la-Salanque .... meetings, dedications and Prices at Narbonne Follow me young man, and St. Lawrence for a Grandfather fell from the sky.
Good times spent with authors, docs, for teachers and organizers who bend over backwards to do well and succeed there ...
bad happens (rarely, thankfully) that meetings with children who should advertise auspiciously prove disastrous.
I do not understand what is the point for teachers to register for meetings with a writer to come, beak floured without having prepared anything, not even read the books, unaware of the work one who came to meet with students and that he not only lost valuable time but he did undergo a harrowing time with an attitude bordering on rudeness. It is a lack of respect for the author but also people who do incredible work to prepare for these meetings. But the worst is probably the lack of respect for children who have not had the chance to enjoy a precious moment as unique as what the arrival of a writer in college. And in this capacity there, I find this kind of behavior is simply unacceptable.
